1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files (and similar technologies like localStorage) that a website stores on your device to remember information between visits — like your language preference, or in our case, your cookie consent choice itself.
2. Categories we use
- Strictly necessary — required for the site to function. No opt-in required.
- Analytics — Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager) and Microsoft Clarity. Nothing in this category loads or stores anything until you accept it.
- Marketing — reserved for future advertising/personalization signals. Nothing is currently active in this category on the Site.
3. Cookie & storage table
| Name | Category | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| trq_cookie_consent | Strictly necessary | Remembers your cookie choice so we don't ask again every visit. | Persistent (localStorage) | Threat ResQ |
| tiara-session-id | Strictly necessary | Keeps your TIARA conversation attached to the same session. | Session (sessionStorage) | Threat ResQ |
| _ga, _ga_* | Analytics | Distinguishes visitors for Google Analytics 4 reporting. | Up to 2 years | |
| _clck, _clsk | Analytics | Microsoft Clarity session identifiers, used for session recordings and heatmaps. | Up to 1 year | Microsoft |
| trq_attribution_first_touch | Analytics | Remembers which campaign/UTM first brought you here, for attribution reporting. | Persistent (localStorage) | Threat ResQ |
4. Google Consent Mode v2
Google Tag Manager loads on every visit, but with Google Consent Mode v2 implemented: analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data, and ad_personalization all default to denied before any tag can fire. Nothing is measured or stored until you grant Analytics consent, at which point only analytics_storage is updated to granted — ad_* signals stay denied unless you separately grant Marketing consent.
5. Managing your choice
Change your cookie preferences at any time using Cookie Preferences in the site footer, or the button below:
You can also block cookies entirely using your browser's settings, though this may affect how parts of the Site function.
